Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus is the author of the faith by which we hear God. Like the Father He is seated in the finished works but the Father sent the Holy Spirit to communicate to us His will and to execute His plans for us.

In the beginning God came to Adam and Eve early every morning. They did not have to go looking for God, not did they have to call out to Him.

In the book of Job we discover that the angels had to come before the Father to speak with Him.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 14:17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

He knows us better than we know ourselves. He is God in us.

Worldly people cannot receive Him, He only comes by faith.

He is the finisher in Hebrews 12:2.

Please note while the Holy Spirit is God He does not complete this work of faith.

Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

That day is not known to anyone except the Father.

Matthew 24:36 But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.
