Walk with Me

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Have you seen a show or a movie where a figure in authority says to the subordinate “Walk with me.” It is in that moment that privacy is established and intimate details are revealed.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Walking in newness of life is like being dropped off in a deeply wooded area that you have never seen or been in before. You will feel lost if you do not have someone to guide you. Your guide is the Holy Spirit. Walking in the spirit is walking with God.

Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Enoch walked with God and it pleased God. This translation of Enoch was unto perfection. We in our transitional newness of life have not been perfected but rather have this opportunity to walk with God and please Him. Translation will come later, but for now it is all about the walk.

God is saying to you, “Come, walk with Me.” It is pleasing to God to have you join Him in this walk. Close personal discovery will happen as He shows you this wonderful abundant life you have entered into.
