Galatians 1:7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.
Corned beef is made from the leaner flat brisket.
Pastrami is made with point brisket, which contains more marbling and fat. Pastrami can also be made with other cuts of beef, such as deckle (a lean shoulder cut) or navel (aka beef belly, which comes from the plate, a juicy section just below the ribs).
Corned beef is brisket with all the fat removed and pickled in a special brine. It is brisket but has a different taste.
If pastrami is cut from brisket and prepared, it is still brisket but like corned beef is prepared differently.
Then we come to the area of the preparation of other cuts where the process, not the cut of meat determines what it is called. Those are not brisket but they are pastrami. These are like those who have distorted the gospel yet claim to be Christians. The process does not begin with Jesus.
2 Corinthians 11:4 For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.
We know who prefers corned beef. Those who like pastrami don’t care about anything but the taste, the cut of meat doesn’t matter. They will accept anything that sounds good. There is no way for us to tell which pastrami used brisket to start with.
The only way to know for sure which gospel we are receiving is to love brisket without altering the cut or the preparation. This the unadulterated gospel of Christ.
If an individual is fed anything else in their youth, then the only way to wean them off the adulterated gospel is to feed them the real deal.
Hopefully they will come to love Him and not go back.
The true gospel begins and ends with Jesus Christ and never waiver.
