Titles

Yesterday’s title was “Being Used”. Some will say what does that have to do with the content of the post. I understand that, so I will explain.

We are all born in sin due to no fault of our own. The kingdom we are born in is ruled by the Prince of the power of the air. His title is Archangel, an immortal, and his name is Lucifer, or Satan, whichever you like. No one understands this instinctively, that understanding has to be taught. Not everyone is taught that. In this case ignorance is now excuse.

Romans 8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope

We have to be taught that there is a creator and identify His purpose in creating all this. If we are not taught, there is no excuse.

Romans 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

God’s hope is to redeem His creation from Satan and Satan’s plan is to spoil God’s plan.

Satan’s plan is to use sin to keep us trapped.  Here are the important attributes of sin. Sin has accomplices and victims. This can be seen if the fall, if one is taught about original sin.

Eve listened to Satan and ate the forbidden fruit. She became sin’s accomplice by enticing Adam to eat also, making him sin’s first victim. The nature of sin continued in like fashion throughout all history to unwitting victims.

We were used by Satan to promote sin until God redeemed us and changed our title from victim to victor.

Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 John 4:4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Our title has changed from sinner to son. Have you heard of “Title Lock”? That concept came from God.

John 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.
