Right Conclusions

The next step in order of faith is right conclusions.

Deuteronomy 29:4 Yet the Lord hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Ephesians 3:17-8 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

This says “may be able” to comprehend. Just how well do we know this indwelling Christ? How much attention do we pay to the Holy Spirit who instructs us in righteousness? Has love taken root and grown in our hearts?

What we hear and what we perceive must match the character of the indwelling Christ. A right conclusion says, “This is my Son in whom I am well pleased.” We must not rely on our education of the bible, remembering all that has been taught. We must establish and rely on the relationship with the God who saved us.

Jesus did not die just to save us. He made a way for us to have a real and vital relationship with the Father.

How can we testify of Jesus if we only know Him by what we are told? How can we speak for Jesus if we cannot hear Him in our hearts? How can we walk by faith if He isn’t leading us?

Study any historical figure and learn everything you can about them so that you can answer any question. Does that mean you knew them? No. That is the difference between education and relationship. We can have a relationship with God.
