Hidden View

Genesis 3:14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

Because Satan was cast out in verse 14 and then in verse 21 God provided a covering of their sin, Satan never got to see God’s plan for salvation. It was hidden from his view to protect God’s plan from Satan’s corruption and to lead Satan into doing God’s will at the proper time.

Had Satan known God’s plan for covering sin came through sacrifice, he might not have overseen Christ betrayal and death on the Cross.

Luke 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

If at this point you were wondering how Satan could enter into a disciple of Christ, remember this, the Holy Spirit was not given to be our comforter, protector and guide until after Christ was crucified and resurrected. Being a follower of Christ is no guarantee of protection, only accepting Christ into your heart protects you from Satan.

The essential issue about God’s eternal point of view is not just how God see these things but in His ability the fight this war in a place where Satan cannot see the punch coming. It is like hitting a man who is blind folded. Satan can only punch at air, without hitting a thing.

1 Corinthians 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

All this God saw from the beginning from His point of view.
