Glorify God

Isaiah 60:21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

John 13:32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

2 Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

  1. Such an interesting dichotomy with respect to Romans 8:30 “Moreover whom he did predestinate”.

    And yet, we balance the gut-feeling that we must have the power of ultimate self-determination in order to be accountable for our choices against our faith that says, “I choose to trust Christ.”

    We must ultimately choose to trust that God the Father drew us to Christ and gave us the will to trust Christ. John 6:44, 65.

  2. Ern, while captivating us with His love, He did not take away free will for love without free will is slavery and that isn’t love.
