2 Samuel 7:22 Therefore you are great, O Lord God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
Surround yourself with liars, what do you believe?
The easy answer to that question is anything you want. Those infecting you don’t care.
The opening verse is from a prayer from King David who had some impressive experiences himself and yet he did not rely on just his own experiences to determine God’s greatness.
2 Samuel 7:21 Because of your promise, and according to your own heart, you have brought about all this greatness, to make your servant know it.
We cannot trust liars. If they make promises, they break them. That is what liars do.
God made promises throughout His dealings with Israel. He kept every one of them.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
Those who surround us have the greatest influence over us. How do we break the cycle of lies that have whole generations of liars influencing so many?

Stand for the truth.
