Apple Cart

Romans 14:13 Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

When someone tells you not to upset the apple cart, they are usually advising you to “leave well enough alone” or “don’t rock the boat”. To go one step further in connection with spiritual understanding, the cart is not yours and the fruit was gathered by another.

Over the years the Lord has shown me things that are to be shared and other things that are for my personal comfort and security. They are for my personal relationship with Him. I learned the difference between the two by making mistakes and “upsetting the apple cart”.

Here is a good rule to follow. This is how love acts.

1 Corinthians 13:5 (love is not) rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
