Revelation 22:18-19 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

That is a very scary warning. I read and wrote it in English from the King James Version. Biblegateway.com offers 55 English versions of the bible. Is English your native language? If not then there are 19 versions in Spanish, 4 in French, 5 in Italian. 5 in German and in total so far 62 different languages available. I know that is not every language on earth. I am not even sure every language has a written dialect, or that all people can read.

Revelation 14:6-7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Fear not, God will provide His Word.

What of the warning I began with, are not all these versions changes, and variations adding and subtracting words? While I cannot answer that with a degree of certainty which will soothe every doubt, I would ask you to come back tomorrow for translations. There is an answer I can live with.

Simply Put

Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

This is a new year and I begin my third year in bringing devotionals to the world. I have for the most part shared my experiences and tried to relate my messages out of the Lord dealing with me. It has been brought to my attention that I do not always put things simply. I’ve been with the Lord for a long time and in many ways I have forgotten what it feels like to be lost and needy.

In an effort to correct that method of presenting the Word to the world, especially to my foreign readers who have English as a second language, I seek to simplify my writing. While I do enjoy the deep mysteries in the Word, I would serve more people better if my words were simply put.

Beginning tomorrow I shall endeavor to stay on one topic for a season and place basic information in order to address the issues and not move on until the subject has been thoroughly examined and explained. This will be new for me, so please be patient. Hopefully I will achieve two goals, to be obedient in my calling and to reach a broader audience with greater clarity.

My opening effort will be in how our God communicates with His creation. Any relationship can only be improved by clear communication and the removal of any doubt, fear and ambiguity.

1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing.

Love is my motivation and my desire is to be successful.
