25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
There will be occasions when we share the gospel that we come across people that feel unworthy of God’s love. They might express their insecurity in this way; “Why me?” It is very possible that they are at the lowest part of their life for exactly this reason.
God only lifts up the down trodden.
Isaiah 18:2 That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
God’s Word hints to us that revival only comes when it is needed.
Look at what is going on today. Is this a good time for revival?
The answer to “Why me?” is that they are exactly who God is looking to save.
If in fact another revival has begun, lend your voice, speak the truth and welcome a weary soul to the Kingdom of God.
For those of us that do not feel equipped let me say this, an outstretched hand speaks for itself.
Make hay while the season is right because this is coming.
Joel 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
At least I hope it is time, so don’t delay in sharing your salvation story.
