Romans 14:19 So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.
Romans 12:18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
Matthew 5:11 “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.
Luke 12:4 I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.
Romans 8:36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
It isn’t always easy to live up to the principles that Jesus set before us, but we should try.
Some refuse to cooperate in making peace. That doesn’t mean we should stop trying.
We have been blessed to be called sons of God. We should try to bless others.
We live this life knowing we have a better life waiting. We should try and make this one better.
Just because the enemy has a heavier body count doesn’t mean they are winning. We must try to remember this is about winning souls to Christ, that is where the body count really matters.
We should try to remember that using the tactics of our enemy only works in Satan’s favor.
Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
Try and remember He is our strength.
Isaiah 40:31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Hebrews 12:3 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
Try and remember what He endured is worse than what we endure.
Try to endure.
