In and Out

Psalm 121:8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Now that we know how to be in communion with the God and silence the liar, it must be noted that God does not desire us to stay there all the time. As much as He loves us, He also loves others and the instruction given to “be Holy for I am Holy” means for us to be a place where Satan has no voice.

Our ministry is to a lost and dying world that needs to hear the truth and shine the light in dark places.

In the past I have mentioned that the Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit, keeping the Way open for us to come in and out in communion with God. That Sword we take with us to make a way for others to see how to enter into communion with God.

Being out in the world does not mean God is not with us. The Holy Spirit is still active even after we have left the sanctuary of our hearts. He is the spirit of truth and as such counters lies with truth in our minds. Our minds are still flesh and subject to hearing lies. There is order in loving God.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

The order is heart, then soul, then mind. We get the order backwards and seek to understand before we believe and seek to believe before we trust. If we cannot trust God, how can we obey? Loving God comes from a place of agape experience, being embraced by that love and bathing yourself in His love.

We love Him because He first loved us and we experience that love in our hearts where He dwells.

The soul is comprised of the will and emotions. That love will come with experience and then lastly the mind.

Enter In

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Just before Jesus spoke of preparing a place for you to meet with Him in private, He said this. Do not let your heart be troubled. This was His way of telling us how to enter into the temple.

Putting off of your shoes as instructed by God to Moses is this very thing. To quiet the mind and set aside every weight of concern in the world. You cannot enter in carrying your baggage. You have to leave it at the door.

We have a saying that says, “Lay it at the foot of the Cross.” It is a visual example of preparing yourself to enter in to that quiet place where we must not speak. We are there to receive. All our concerns must be put out of our minds and our inner voice quieted.

Psalm 46:10a Be still, and know that I am God:

Is it easy? No. Is it worth it? Yes.

The first thing we need to accomplish is to put a sock in Satan’s mouth. What Satan hates worse than you is praise of God and the name Jesus Christ.

Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

That stifles Satan’s voice and gets us into the gate. What now since I had said to quiet yourself and the praise has done its part?

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Embrace the love that dwells in you. Run to Abba Father’s arms and surround yourself in love, agape love, His unfailing love.

Satan cannot enter in and has no voice in this communion.
