Deuteronomy 32:4 “The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.”
1 Corinthians 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.
When Paul says “all drank” he is referring to those of us that have placed our faith in Jesus Christ. That is not “everybody”.
There is so much negativity in the world these days. It is not impossible to stay positive but the world does make it difficult.
We know that Jesus is “The Rock”. If we focus on what He has done and is doing we should be able to stay positive.
1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
While this is true for we who believe, this is not true of everyone.
Psalm 118:22 The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
The cornerstone determines the alignment of the temple and offers up the best view of the world outside. He allows us to “see” the world for what it is in truth, without distortion, laying bare the lies that the world offers as an alternative to justice and faithfulness.
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
