We are human beings. We are in a constant state of being human. We have this tendency to compare ourselves to other people to allow ourselves to feel good about the way we live.
No one likes to be told they are sinners.
I open this conversation with two distinct trains of thought, The first is that we all sin. The second is that God prefers us to be holy just because He is holy. There is a great gap between sin and holiness we find difficult to bridge.

Jesus is righteous and His words are true, why should we listen to anyone else?
