Proverbs 29:11 A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.

I wanted to see what His Word has to say about emotions, so I searched emotions and this is the answer that came back.

I find myself crying more than ever. I feel things more deeply than ever. It is not sadness nor is it something overwhelming, but if I were to guess, I believe it is connected to a feeling of helplessness.

God has been so gracious to me and rather than being grateful I am sad that others are missing out on God’s mercies. 

That is not up to me.

What do you need? I don’t know, but God does.

How can I reach you? I don’t know but God does.

It is hard not to get emotional about all that is wrong in the world.

Was it always like this? Perhaps but today we have the ability to see what is happening nearly everywhere because this information age is in your face where two thousand years ago news traveled slowly.

God knew everything instantly, because nothing was news to Him.

Look at how long God had to put up with man’s folly before He sent His Son into the world to answer all of our questions.

Father, show me what to do about this. Amen

Oh. Yes Father, but how much longer do I have to hold this back?
